Unicorns of the Vale

Try as i may i cant seem to get my signitures to have that "see through apearance and leave just the unicorn itself present. On my paintshop program i make the last layer "invisible" so that naturaly the backround wont show up, but when i try and upload it, it gives it a white background. I upload to DA and photobucket. Is there a place to do this where it wont give it a white backround, or am i doing things completly wrong from the get go?
Help please, im a super huge computer tard.

What type of file is it? It has to be a .gif, I think.

The file type can also/should be .png

Not sure what ver. you have but its pretty easy to search for on google

Blueflyer beat me to it! I was going to tell you that I saved mine as a PNG. If you save it as a jpeg, even if you have the background 'invisible' it will still show up as white when all is said and done. Kind of annoying!
