Blue Starflower
Blue Starflower is a small plant with blue petals and pink accents, shaped in the easily identifiable star shape. Very hard to mistake and used commonly to reduce fever and induce lactation.
Growth
Blue Starflower grows close to the ground, rarely reaching more than 60-100cm. Its stems are thick and curled, with soft hair covering the stem and leaves. True to its name, Blue Starflower blossoms have five pointed petals, giving it the appearance of a traditional star. Its blossoms are blue and tipped with pink, although over time will fade to pink.
Habitat
Blue Starflower can be found all year in the warm, mild climates near the Summer Sea and Lost Desert. It can be found seasonally on the plains and in forests from spring to late fall.

Uses
Blue Starflower has a few uses, depending on the portion of plant utilized. Starflower leaves and roots are used to reduce fever, while seeds and leaves can bring milk to a mare with slow or no lactation in a few days.
Side Effects
None known. The Blue Starflower blossom is wholly edible and has a taste similar to honey.
Physical Effects
Patients will notice a gradual lessening of fever, or in the case of a sever fever - marked reduction of hallucinations or fever dreams.

Blue Starflower blossoms taste much like honey. No more than three leaves may be given to young foals. DO NOT USE WHEN DRIED. Blue Starflowers must be administered while fresh!
